Flying fire

It was just another typical Friday night when after I came back from badminton, as usual, was very tired. After having my dinner and my bath, I went to sleep soon after. And when I was just about to close my eyes, a light just flew by. As though something was burning in mid-air. Well, I'm just an ordinary urban boy, such things is pretty rare esp in my room. So, I hurried to get my camera and start taking pics like and utter idiot. But unfortunately, some of the pics turned out to be a .raw file, and I believe its corrupted because i couldn't convert it to .jpeg format like I once could before. On the following Sunday, I was hurrying to go to work in SS2 when it rained. When i was tying my shoe, I saw the most beautiful thing nature every made. It was a sack filled with spores on a dead tree trunk in my house.. again. And as the rain pour down, the spores are hurled into the air and transported. It was really an unbelievable scene, as though I'm in a jungle itself. But, I was already kinda late for my work, so I couldn't take any pics of that beautiful scene. Perhaps I would drop everything just to take this amazing picture first next time.
































After some time, I was really exhausted and I kept my camera while the firefly was still flying around my room. On the next morning, I found it dead on my floor. Just inches away from where I last saw it.

Well, it was an early evening on the 19th of July when we took Ping Ying(py) to Pizza Uno to celebrate her birthday. Wai Chien and I visited King's to get her a bday cake before we meet up with both py-s(Ping Ying, Pek Yee). And when our pizza came, it looked like an oversized currypuff. And on the inside was some chicken, mushroom and lots of cheese. So much that me n Pek were fighting over the oozing cheese. For a video do visit her blog, post title:'

A 'Chun' Bday nite out

It was Aug 15th when we went out just to celebrate Chun Hwa and Grace's birthday. It was a last minute plan when Wai Hou decided to bake a cake for them.. When he was done, our 1st destination was Station 1, Taipan. We left the cake to cool down in their refridgerator and went back to our seats to make our order, only when Wai Hou(I think) looked across the streets and saw Pizza Hut. So we decided to take our dinner there. We were so embarrassed when we took back our cake. And thanks a lot for Ping Ying, Grace and Chun Hwa for not waiting for us while Wai Hou and I retrieve back our cake. How kind of you guys.

And so there we were in Pizza Hut and luckily that dat falls on Chun Hwa's birthday, so we get to have a free birthday pizza and bottomless Pepsi. When we opened the box with the cake inside, we were kinda disappointed at first to see it mashed up. But, don't judge a book by its cover. The cake that Wai Hou made was SUPERB!! He really could make a business out of selling cheesecake alone. Here's a pic of the edited version of the cheesecake.


The cake was perfect Wai Hou. Thanks a mil for making it within such a short time. And soon, Wai Hou had to leave for his skating training in Pyramid. We said our goodbyes and he left.



And we also found out that during that day, Chun Hwa had free calls to any network. And so he called Shiau Sing and proposed a meeting with her the next day. And on the next day I think i had food poisoning. Could it be due to the pizza? No idea cuz the other guys seems fine. Guess I just had a weak stomach.

We bought a BIG monkey for Shiau Sing. I think she still thinks we won it for her.. Haha. Didnt get a pic of the monkey though. Glad we all had fun that day.

Yet another disappointment in life.

Well, it all starter this afternoon when I just got my UPU appeal results. I got Bachelor of Applied Science (Agro Techno-Entrepreneurship) in UMK (University Malaysia Kelantan). I was actually quite happy with the course they gave me, because I was interested in agriculture/marine ever since Form 5. And also, I was actually quite reluctant to switch to Arts stream as I did not have that interest since young. I really suck at counting money. The college I'm going to is an utter disaster anyway. The first thing when my mom got the news she said: "Aiyo, so far.", and then she walked off. How encouraging could that be? Why would they call me to waste my time to apply if they are not ready to let me go so far. And as I last recall, they are the ones who said I'm not independant. How do you expect me to be independant if you do not let me go. In future, I'd have to leave soon enough, why couldn't they let me prepare for that moment. The more they hold me back, the harder it is for them to let me go in future. My dad in the other hand at least called me to find more info with a smile on his face. Then he walked off to let me do my own research. And there I was, busting my ass for hours, doing research to my possible new future. Asked around for advice.

It was much later when I was quite happy to have my fathers support when he suddenly turn to me and said: "NO!". My heart sunk beneath the floor and into the depths of the Earth at that instant. I had a whole lot brighter future, and within a second turned to darkness. I asked him for any logical reason behind the turndown. He hesitated and then said UMK is not a good university. Well, no doubt UMK is just 2 years old, but how could they judge the uni just because its new. Its preposterous!! A possible reason why they did not let me go is because its too far. All the way up North..

The worst part of all is, its my dad's bday today too, I wouldn't want to upset him by arguing with him. I had to respect his decision on that day, unlucky me. And yet, the deadline to accept this offer is 4 days away, 14th July. Should I waste my future over Respect? or should I get my ass over there and argue my terms now? I still have papers I have to certify and things I have to buy. Prepare myself for a brighter future.

And why am I still wasting time here. I should be out there, busting my ass to find more info to furthur convince my dad, that this Uni is not useless. And neither am I. God be with me, cause I know they aren't.
