Synthesia

Synthesia is a pretty friendly user programme. For those of who don't know, it's a programme for pianists from all grades. As seen on most Youtube sites, its a programme that reads notes from MIDI files, and convert them to piano keys. The only weakness it has is that it only runs on MIDI file. So if there's a particular piano music sheet you would like to play, it has to be in MIDI format. However, another programme, Sharpeye, allows users to change .tif files into MIDI format. Here's a tutorial for that. Once converted to MIDI, you can use them on your Synthesia player. It makes playing piano a lot easier. Well, at least for me.

I'm in denial.

You're such an ass. Acting all so nice in front of me and/or any other person around you. Truth is, you're just another hypocrite. Hate that part of life. Just because you're a weirdo doesn't give you the reason to treat someone like this. Every selfish move you make since that day has gradually reduced my respect for you. Shame on you!

The Heartbeat in every Relationship

Trust, is just so important to maintain a long lasting friendship, it is the core to all relationships that we make. As I age in this world, I find it harder to trust the people around me. Even in college life, I can't really trust people I sit next to everyday, can't even imagine how the working life would be. Even at such a stage, where people aren't really competing to accomplish something, some people would just turn around and back-stab you.

After 21 years of living, I just found out the hard way that people can't be trusted easily, especially those that I've just met. I've always been the happy-go-lucky type for the past 20 years I guess, never really got into trouble because of this. Lately, I've just messed things up really bad just by telling the wrong person an important information, although I thought he was a person I could trust. After knowing him for about a couple of months or so, I started to open myself, hoping to be able to share my problems, but this instead got me into a deep hole of trouble. You can call me naive but I used to trust people very easily. Everybody just seem so nice and friendly on the outside.

I takes years for a person to earn their trust, knowing this, I will definitely treasure those people that I still trust now. Its like they say "Friendship is like a book. It takes a few seconds to burn, but it takes years to write." Hope our friendship and trust will last.

Life as we know it

Life is just full of disappointments. You'll get disappointed by co-workers, friends, even close friends. It just seem so hard to put it into words for them, just gotta suck it all in and take the blame. How long can I go on like this? Some words are just better to be left unsaid. I guess in that sense, no one really truly knows/understands me, so far. I'm trying to catch up with reality, though I've been avoiding it for a while. Took me a while to understand the phrase :"Change is the only constant". Guess I had to find that out the hard way too.
No point dwelling in the past, there's nothing left for you there.

A toast to ourselves

Things just feel so different this semester. Everyone being so busy with their work. Having this long holiday doesn't feel right anymore. What has become to all of us? Everyone's changed. She was right, are we all drifting apart? How did we change so much? You were right too, friends don't last forever. It's just too hard to get it back all together again. So hard to change it..

At the bottom of the corporate food chain

Exams is finally over.. Next challenge will be my internship which will commence on the 1st of June. Its a rather big company named Grant Thornton(GT) in Jalan Sultan Ismail, KL. Luckily for me, I'm doing something thats related to my studies, auditing. Well, all I can say is GT is one of the top 10 accounting firms in Malaysia, and I guess I'm just lucky enough to enter this company for my internship. Thank God a few bunch of my classmates are going there as well, at least I won't be working alone there. I think having people you know working with you is better in some ways. At least we can watch each other's backs, but some people don't prefer working with friends. No idea why yet. Its a whole new world out there and I just hope I can adapt to this life fast enough. Good luck to myself and all my friends working out there now.. Cheers!!

Attention ladies

Read this quote online somewhere, thought its very meaningful.. wanted to share it

Girls are like apples...the best ones are at the top of the trees. The boys don't want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they just get the rotten apples that are on the ground that aren't as good, but easy. So the apples at the top think there is something wrong with them, when, in reality, they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right boy to come along, the one who's brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree.

So ladies, patience is a virtue.

Have yourself a merry little christmas

It was Christmas eve, woke up a little late but still just in time for breakfast. Much later I was getting ready to go to Jamie's house for Christmas eve meal with Andrew, Jason, Kevin, Chen, Marcus and Grace. We waited for the other people to arrive before we unwrap the turkey. I was really curious on how a turkey would look like. Never really saw a whole piece before. No doubt its almost the same as a chicken, it had stuffing in it, was quite tasty. We also had fruit punch, courtesy of Chen. But, in my opinion, was a little too sweet, sorry Chen. I didn't say it out cuz everyone seems to be shooting Jamie for saying that.. Haha, I just remained silent. After the wonderful meal, we headed to the living room to chat and play some guitar. Here are the pics

Later on, after most of the people left, we proceeded to play card games.

Jamie shows her butt for the camera. Haha
After a few rounds of games, we headed back home. Later on Jamie and me decided to do a video call. Here are the cute pics.. =D
This is her performing the guitar.
Cute pic of her hugging the guitar without knowing yet.
When she found out I was using printscreen.
No idea what is she laughing at..
After the whole day, it was tiring, but was a lot of fun. ~Merry Christmas!~

Rindumu

Owh well, it's been a while since I blogged. Pretty soon, I'll be moving in to my new campus in Kota Damansara. I can't wait to go there as I'm starting a new life there. None of my friends are following, although I tried to persuade some of them. Owh well, it's their decision and I can't really force it into them. Having said that, I'm really looking forward to meet new friends there. Hopefully I will be staying there also, if my dad allows.. If that happens, I wont be able to go online so often.

Independence, something I've been waiting a long time for. Hopefully it will be granted to me.
